Roundabout Press is Looking for an Intern

Roundabout Press is searching for an intern to craft and publish engaging social media content for our Twitter and Facebook platforms and web content for the press blog, Uncommon Sense. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable writing with very few boundaries and limited guidance. We are looking for organic content with an edge–anything that disrupts the status quo of conventional fiction publishing and helps us fill the literary social scene with fresh ideas.

In addition to crafting organic content, the duties of the Roundabout Press intern may include, but are not limited to:
*Curating content for our social media channels.
*Working with the editorial staff on email marketing initiatives for upcoming publications.
*Developing media kits in collaboration with the editorial staff.

You’re certainly a strong candidate for this position if you:
*Use Twitter and Facebook regularly.
*Are a strong writer who can write clearly and concisely.
*Have a knack for, or strong interest in, blogging or creating web content.
*Are currently pursuing your MFA, or have already graduated.
*Possess strong communication skills.
*Are happy to work remotely.

If you’re interested, send along a current c.v. or resume, a list of published work (if any), and a brief cover letter (this should be the body of your email) to Brian Lance at If you have questions about the position, you may email Brian or myself (

Roundabout Press was founded in 2011 with the purpose of publishing new American fiction. We endeavor to provide a forum to literary artists that is free from corporate or conglomerate concerns. We are committed to the printed book as an art form, with design and printing standards of the highest quality (although we also offer electronic and audio formats).
