Poor Yorick informational meeting

Hi MFAers!

I will be hosting an informational meeting Friday at 11 a.m. in the ballroom for anyone interested in learning more about our program’s online literary journal, Poor Yorick: A Journal of Rediscovered Objects

We publish feature pieces twice a month (ideally) year-round in all genres submitted by people around the U.S. and world. We staffers write accompanying nonfiction pieces examining or expanding upon an aspect or theme mentioned in the feature. We also partner with museums locally and nationally and write museum spotlights on them a few times a year.

There are a few levels of involvement available depending on how much, or little, time you want to commit. We meet once a month at the main campus, but everything else is remote and on your own time (with respect to publication deadlines, of course).

Feel free to email me with any questions at bymeljohnson@gmail.com, and I hope to see you Friday morning!

Mel Johnson
