The MFA in Creative and Professional Writing starts a new phase in August 2017 with the arrival of new MFA Coordinator Anthony D’Aries. Anthony worked most recently as Director of the Writing Program at Regis College, and his work with PEN/New England as a member of the Freedom to Write Committee, his commitment to writing as a functional presence in the practical world, his experience with low-residency programs, and his background as an award-winning writer especially have the Department of Writing, Linguistics, and Creative Process thrilled that he will be taking over the reins of the MFA program at WCSU. We hope all students, alumni, faculty, and program supporters will come out on Tuesday, August 1 at 5 p.m. at the Alumni Pavilion on the Westside Campus to welcome Anthony to WCSU and to the program.
