Never Give Up-Good News

As you may know, my latest novel was published on Dec 1… the tenth in the Josie Prescott Antiques Mystery series… ORNAMENTS OF DEATH, a Christmas tale about a 17th century royal mistress, miniature watercolor portraits, and betrayal.

I have two pieces of great news to share — and part of what makes the news so awe-inspiring to me is the lesson they both teach is just keep on plugging… think about it… these good news things occurred related to BOOK TEN!

1. The current book and the last three back titles has JUST SOLD as audio books. This is so significant because it opens the series up to a whole new universe of readers.

2. ORNAMENTS OF DEATH has been selected as a best book for Jan 2016 by LibraryReads! Woo hoo!

As you might know, LibraryReads is a recommendation program that highlights public librarians’ favorite new books. This grassroots virtual community, open to all public library staff, serves as a national “library staff picks list,” featuring only 10 adult titles each month that library staff have read, loved, and cannot wait to share with their patrons.

LibraryReads is managed by a steering committee of public librarians and library advocates, and they have allied with the ALA, the AAP, and even the ABA, which “is lending their expertise and back-office support” based on their experience with the Indie Next lists.Never Give Up-Good News
