Residency Recap

Again, much thanks to all of the students, faculty, visiting writers, Housatonic Book Award winners, and alumni who made the January res more than successful! I especially want to thank Don Snyder, Daniel Asa Rose, and all of the returning alumni for keeping the culture of the program alive and well. We all can agree that the food needs improvement, and I will do everything I can to see to that. I also hear you on your desire to have the opportunity to take more workshops, perhaps two on some days, and I will explore that possibility, though it largely depends upon the schedules of our workshop leaders and lecturers and on the number of other events we need to work into the schedule. Thanks, also, for the copyediting prowess of the individual who marked “sp and content” of “Augsut” on the survey. You clearly have taken the copy editing warnings to heart! The August residency dates are August 1-7, the 1st being arrival/orientation day, and the 7th being travel only.

And one person go the correct answer: “Dinosaur zombie bats!”

I wish you all a productive semester.
