Creative Copywriter

The Creative Copywriter is key in driving the NBC | Neebo brands while specializing in writing and strategy for print, web, video, and digital content.

THE CREATIVE COPYWRITER DELIVERS ON THE NBC | NEEBO MISSION BY: Developing concepts for advertising, collateral, marketing promotions, interactive pieces and other communication pieces needed by clients. Providing message development, copywriting, and editing of ads, corporate and product booklets, brochures and other collateral pieces, sell sheets, posters, postcards, direct mail, web pages, banner ads, in-store POP, and emails. Ensuring all written messages are bold, strategic, persuasive, on-brand and on-strategy in all media for B to C and B to B communications. Checking concepts and copy against the creative brief to ensure it meets key strategic goals and objectives. Working in tandem with designers who may share responsibility on specific projects. Reviewing projects for accuracy before final production. Adhering to schedules and budgets. Other duties and special projects as assigned.

NECESSARY SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or a related field and a minimum of two to three years’ experience in professional copywriting including concepting, writing, editing, and proofreading. Mastery of written and verbal communication, including the ability to write for a diverse audience. Proficient in technical and promotional writing, with the ability to write and edit under short deadlines. Excellent proofreading skills. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects within timelines and budgets. Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively within the team, as well as with leaders from other departments. Strong prioritizing, organizing, problem solving, and decision making skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Some limited travel may be required.
