Dick Cass Wins National Trout Unlimited Essay Contest

My essay Pursuing, Losing won the national Trout Unlimited Be Steelheaded essay contest. The essay was read on November 20th as part of the kickoff of Trout Unlimited’s Wild Steelhead Initiative, a project to protect and restore wild steelhead in their native ranges in Alaska, California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The essay will be published in the April 2015 issue of Trout magazine but you can read it now here.
