On-Campus Workshop Tomorrow, 3/16

Dr. Casey Rudkin will be heading a workshop from 12pm-3pm on WCSU’s Westside Campus tomorrow in the seminar room across from the Writing Offices in Higgins.

I hope you can join us.

Research Once, Write Twice (or More):
How to Turn Your Thesis Topic into Multiple Works

Freelance writers have long adhered to the adage “research once, write twice” to
extend their earnings. One experience or interview can be spun into assignments
for multiple venues, creating revenue in the form of many articles while
limiting research time. For MFA and MA students working on a thesis, this can
mean transforming your research and writing into magazine, newspaper or academic
articles. In this workshop, we will focus on how to get more mileage out of
your research and work in ways that will improve your academic profile and,
possibly, your financial situation as well.
